Mr Gerald Leo

Director, Commercial Partners and Small Medium Enterprises Group,
Microsoft Singapore
Gerald Leo heads One Commercial Partners (OCP) and the Small, Medium Corporate (SMC) group for Microsoft Singapore. As a technology leader with over 18 years of technical, sales and marketing experience, he leads the overall business strategy, as well as initiatives that empower small and mid-sized enterprises, working with the Microsoft partner ecosystem to help businesses realise the full potential of technology.
In a world that is being disrupted by the fourth industrial revolution, a key priority for Gerald and his team is to nurture a vibrant partner ecosystem that can harness Microsoft’s cloud-enabled technologies and innovations to help businesses in Singapore transform themselves digitally. He firmly believes that businesses, regardless of size and resources available, can reimagine how they empower employees, optimise operations, engage customers and transform their products and services through digital transformation.
Gerald first joined Microsoft in 2007. Since then, he has taken on management roles that developed the channel ecosystem, including OEMs, distributors and resellers; managed the business and product marketing strategy for Microsoft’s Office cloud-based productivity suite; led a high-performing team to be the trusted advisors to enterprise and mid-market solutions partners and worked together with them to build innovative solutions that became catalysts in digital transformation. Prior to joining Microsoft, he spent a number of years in regional pre-sales and sales roles at Seagate and Intel.
Gerald graduated from LaTrobe University in Australia with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing. He also holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and an Advanced Diploma in Information Systems Technology, both from Singapore Polytechnic.
