Ms. Charlene Wong brings the technology industry together to co-create opportunities and value. With over 16 years in the digital technology, she continues to amplify her experiences and connections to grow a vibrant tech industry in this global digital economy.
She currently catalyses and orchestrates innovation through IMDA’s Open Innovation Platform to uncover digitalisation opportunities across enterprises, government agencies and matching with the tech industry through a structured design innovation process, as well as IMDA’s physical innovation facilities and labs.
Prior to innovation, she built the entrepreneurship and start-up ecosystem in 2009 and was part of the maker-culture like tinkering, 3D printing and drones. Her career began in a local start-up where she learnt the valuable skills of growing an enterprise, including developing business and marketing strategies for international partnerships and building relationships in the industries.
She graduated from National University of Singapore in B.Eng (Mechanical Engineering), 2:1 and a post-grad Certificate in Law with University of Edinburgh.
