Mr Edwin Low is the Director of the Innovation & Tech Ecosystem division, part of the Media & Innovation Group at the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA).
Edwin has over 18 years of experience in private equity investing, investment banking and consulting. Prior to joining IMDA, he was running his own consulting and advisory practice.
Edwin’s past experience includes being the Managing Director for Singapore at Hambrecht & Quist Asia Pacific, a private equity firm where he was responsible for originating and making investments, portfolio management, development of new fund products and fund raising. His past portfolio also includes leading financial advisory mandates in the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, and as a senior consultant in Ernst and Young.
Edwin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of New South Wales and is a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) with the Association of Investment Management & Research (AIMR) and the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants (ASCPA) respectively.
