John Lu is currently the Director, Infocomm & Media at Enterprise Singapore (ESG). He is also part of Digital Industry Singapore (DISG). DISG was founded in 2019 as a joint office between EDB, ESG and IMDA. It works with global and local enterprises, as well as large and small firms to build a vibrant tech ecosystem in Singapore. John works with numerous partners from both the public and private sectors to accelerate the growth of enterprises by building capabilities, facilitating access to international markets and developing opportunities for collaboration.
Prior to this, he was at IMDA as Director, Lifestyle Division, where he worked on the digital transformation of the Lifestyle cluster, which includes Retail, Tourism and Food Services.
An engineer by training, John obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree from the University of Glasgow. He also holds a Masters in Human Resources & Industrial Relations from Oxford University.
